Hi! I’m Alenni, the founder of Eggheads Learning Academy. I’m so glad you’re here!
Eggheads Learning Academy—Eggheads, for short—is a passion project that is several years in the making, and I couldn’t be more excited to officially bring it to you! It all started back in 2018 (you can read about my background and the origin of Eggheads here. Fast forward a little over two years, and here we are!
When I started Eggheads Learning Academy, I knew that I didn’t want it to be like other tutoring companies. Having worked with plenty of students who had tried those big-name companies (you know the ones I’m talking about), I knew that kids weren’t completely happy with their experiences there. While daily worksheets of repetitive math facts may have been effective, they weren’t making for a fun and engaging learning experience. I knew I wanted to create an entirely different experience for my students—one that values organization, structure, and self-motivation while emphasizing individualized, dynamic, hand-on lessons and catering to each student’s unique nature of learning.
At Eggheads Learning Academy, we pride ourselves on our ability to help our students master skills in many different areas of study, from elementary math to trigonometry, from writing the ABCs to writing a college admissions essay. Our experienced tutors work with students of all ages, from Pre-K to college, in-home or online. You can learn more about our services here and here.
As for EggheadsAcademy.com, I designed it to be a resource for parents and students outside of our sessions. Here, you will find a diverse blog (that will soon be) filled with study tips, wellness guides, and various educational resources. (Pssst, subscribe to our email list to have these nuggets, and more, sent straight to your inbox!) I have also set up an interactive forum for homework help, where students can post questions about various homework topics. Our tutors will reply to these questions and provide step-by-step instructions for solving the problem. Show this feature to your students—they can submit as many questions as they’d like!
